Stefan Reichert is designing the future at Google

Hi, I’m Stefan. I believe that equitable access to information and technology creates a more just and inclusive world. I’m skeptical about what is and am determined to have a positive impact on the society with a calmer, more inclusive approach to technology.

In my ex-lives I helped to improve the Sonos design language and voice experience; worked with the Ikea design team at their headquarters in Sweden; I led the design of the Sonos Play:5 and Sonos One and now I am working on the next big thing in the home at Google Nest.

Aside from all this I live to travel (~30 countries and counting, warm weather and oceans preferred), I dig bass-heavy music, interior design, and I care deeply about a minimal lifestyle.

I’m based in the bay area, but originally hail from the tiny town of Schwerte, Germany.

Thanks for stopping by.

My life on one page

In an ideal world this text wouldn’t exist, a client would acknowledge the importance of having web copy before the design starts. Needless to say it’s very important, content is king and people are beginning to understand that. However, back over in reality some project schedules and budgets don’t allow for web copy to be written before the design phase, this is sad but true. We’re here to help, we’ve written examples of web copy for over 40 industries for you to use at concept phase of your projects to bring a little life and realism to your designs and help you think about who and what you are designing for. We want clients and designers alike to think about their graphic design.
